To Live Is To Pant

- Date: about a month ago
- Location: the patio
- I’m feeling: smokin’ hot
You know that uncontrollable urge to pant? It always catches me off guard. My first though is “what on earth is going on with my mouth?” And then I embrace the pant. Because as the saying goes, to live is to pant. Or is that something I just made up?

The first time I read this, I thought it said “To Live is to PAINT”! I briefly thought, now they went and put that poor little dog to work too! ;)
Oh yeah, knowing my parents they’re praying that I’ll develop a sudden interest in renovation too.
xo,

the kids cracked up the first time our puppy started to pant (after a particularly eventful game of chase the string toy around the living room). He’s a Bichon Frise, and when they pant, you see the dark outline of his lips, and it really looks like he’s smiling!

How can such a tiny dog have such a huge tongue? Does he just keep it rolled up when not in use for panting?
I’m happy to see a post by you. I was beginning to think your blog was going belly up along with your parent’s shop and mood board making.
Heck no, I’m just a lazy dog. So I don’t blog all the time like my no-good-at-laying-around-and-panting parents. They need to learn how to relax.
You are so cute burger. ive got one just as cute as you at home, chihuahuas are awesome!
I love that so many dogs look like they’re smiling when they pant. Like, “I’m reeeeeally hot, but it’s so worth it because I’m also really happy.”
So the chihuahua part of my cheagle sister must be where her long tongue comes from!! You look adorable sweet Burger!
