No Thank You

Is it really bath time again? Me no likey. Isn’t there another way for me to get clean? Like exfoliating my skin by rolling around on bugs in the yard? No? You’re saying I have to get wet in the sink to get clean? Well boo on you for raining on my parade. Literally.

This is the funniest picture ever. I can almost hear his thoughts begging not to have a bath. Besides his stance over the sink is too much. He’s such a cute little bug. :)

Oh dear Burger,

Bath time here looks much the same, except my sister and I are a combined total of 120 lbs. Imagine getting US in the sink haha. Needless to say – we’re often sent away to a day at the “Polished Paw.” Then, we come home and roll around it wonderful smells all over the yard. You’d love it!

Love it! This looks just like Roman Noodle during his bath time in our kitchen. He is not a fan either.

ahahahahah!
so cute!

Oh Burger, I feel your pain… my silly parents feel that I need baths too! Don’t they realize we’re SUPPOSED to smell like that???

Burger is so cute!

this is the cutest pic of you yet burger!!

OH man this one cracked me up. :)

Our dog hates it too, it’s so funny, he looks at me with a mix of fear and hate in his little black eyes. The first time we gave him a bath he did this:

Wet is not fun, at least when it comes to baths. I don’t like them either. Signed Minnie (a new rescue dog).

Oooh la la! More pictures of John shirtless, please!

Hey, Burger. I was wondering what shampoo you use to keep your fur so shiny?

My parents actually use Dr. Bronner’s castille soap since it’s organic and super gentle on my sensitive pooch skin. Works like a charm!

does he start paddling his legs before his feet even hit the water? just wondering. that’s what our fur-boy does. can’t say we’ve never held him there for a second just to see him air=paddle. cruel, i know. i LOVE how spunky and ready for action dogs are just after the bath. it’s like a circus show!

Oh yeah, I even do that if you hold me over the toilet. Any body of water under me makes me paddle like crazy… you know, just in case.

When are we going to get the gratuitous doggie in the bubblebath picture? Hee hee….

I amazes me who dogs can be so much like little children. I had that issue with my dog, I tried a different venue, like outside. That worked for us both.

P.S. WoW, excuse all the typos, I wanted to mention another “pet blogger” Buster. I fell in love with him, please visit him over at his site

Thanks for the link! Off to check it out…

This reminds me of a toddler when they don’t want to do something and their whole body stiffens in protest, like a little wooden board. I guess 4 legs makes Burger more like a little table. :)

I feel ya Burger, I don’t like water. I don’t understand why the humans do this to us. I don’t force THEM to shower… :)

Burger, this picture literally made me laugh out loud. If it makes you feel any better, our dogs would rather smell like bug guts as well :)

Burger, I saw your Mom & Dad’s trusty bottle of Mrs. Meyers in the background and for a moment I thought they were going to bath you with it! I know it’s natural, but… Good to know they’re using something more pooch friendly!

i love the look on your face: “how could you do this to me?”
