So Small

- Date: a few months after I was born
- Location: the old kitchen (before the reno)
- I’m feeling: small but mighty
Look how little I was! My parents adopted me when I was just two pounds, and now that I’m a beefy eight pounder it puts my original size into perspective. I was so small! I practically tower over my food bowl now…

In case you and your parents hadn’t heard – the lovely lost pooch, Caera, that you tweeted about, was found and is safe at home with her very relieved Mom & Dad! Yeah :o)
Hey Burger- how many weeks were you at 4lbs? My mom’s trying to figure out how big my lil’ sis may get. She’s at 3lbs @ 7wks ~Thanks :)
Hmm, I was 2 lbs when I was born and almost 4 lbs when I was adopted at two months old. Of course my papers said I would be between 6-7 lbs but I’m taller and longer than every other chihuahua I meet so it’s no surprise I’m 8-9 lbs. My vet says I’m in perfect shape though- I even enjoy 3-5 mile walks at least 5 times a week. And I love that my legs make me look like Naomi Campbell when I’m lined up next to the others chi’s that I meet. I think most chihuahuas are around 5-8 lbs so maybe that’s a good guess for you? Although 3 lbs at 7 weeks is about what I was I think, maybe a smidge less. Only time will tell…

Thanks Burger! My mom weighed my sis today (8wks bday) and she was almost 4lbs too. I think she’ll be your size…which is great for me because I’ll still be the big sis at 10lbs and that’s what really matters here.
TGIF to you and thanks again!
Furry Hugs,
Penny

Hey Burger – it’s pretty cool that you have your own blog! My mom doesn’t let me have my own blog (at 10 months, she still thinks I’m not “grown-up” enough). But sometimes I take over her blog without permission – just like today.
