Treats: Are Those For Me?

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

What’s wrong with this picture?

Why are all of those yummy-delicious-oh-my-goodness-I-must-have-one-now treats in that container and not in my belly? Maybe I’ll get one once I finish being a good boy and telling you about this dog treat isolation chamber that you can win from Whitewash Sundries (the generously treated me with one- but it’s holding my goodies hostage!).

Just like the stuff my parents are giving away on their blog from Whitewash Sundries, this hand-etched stuff on glass is pretty cool (except for the fact that all my treats are highly visible so they taunt me as I stare at them longingly). Anyway, for this dog-themed giveaway, they put the first initial and silhouette of the dog you intend to tease with this look-but-don’t-touch canister. Cool right? And yes, also a bit cruel. Just be sure to remove a tasty morsel or two and give it to your four-legged friend on the regular.

So, if you (or your parents) want to win one of these amazing treat jars personalized with an initial and a customized dog silhouette, just follow these instructions that my dad helped me write:

I follow the same giveaway policies as my parents, so get more info on their Giveaway FAQs page. Pics courtesy of Whitewash Sundries.

GIMME GIMME!!

Duggie’s father LOVES to feed him cheeseballs on rare occasions because he LOVES the crunching noise Duggie makes! Of course Duggie loves them too, and will jump a foot off the ground to catch them in his mouth!

Gimme Gimme!

Bella and Lacey would cure cancer for carrots ( though usually they just have to army crawl, speak or high-five) but our little Pokey likes nothing more than a little pug-sized ice cube. He is still working on his training but he knows to sit even before we ask him to when he sees the ice in our hand!

GIMME GIMME

Our fave treats are our own dog food! Our People-Sister keeps a few handfuls in a canister and when its trick time, she uses these :) We don’t realize that they arent fancy expensive treats and it does the “trick” every time ;)

Our Mama thinks a nice glass treat jar would be even more helpful in making us think they are real treats :)

~Woof!

GIMME GIMME!
I bake my dogs chicken liver and garlic treats that they LOVE (and are so easy and cheap to make)! Recipe blogged here:
http://alexandjess.wordpress.com/2010/01/02/15-minute-liver-treats/

GIMMIE GIMMIE! My dog loves her cookies (and my bananas, carrots, apples…)! We’re easy and she gets one everytime she comes in from outside! (Worked great when I was potty training.)

Gimme Gimme!

Our little puppy loves greenies…well actually anything that falls from human hands. Such a cute giveaway!

GIMME GIMME

My favorite treats are the ones my daddy bakes for me. They’re fresh and tasty. Speaking of, I need to remind him that I just might do some fancy trick (yeah right!) if he makes me another batch…

Coco the Pug
(But not your bachelorette contestant. I’m a guy.)

GIMME GIMME!

Our mostly-golden-retriever-but-a-little-bit-cocker-spaniel Colby likes his regular ole’ milkbone type treats, but he knows he’s been extra good if he gets a some type of soft treat! He’s still a little pup, so just remembering to go potty outside gets him a little reward!

GIMME GIMME! Molly (the puggle) especially loves Newman’s Own Organic Peanut Butter treats. The little heart shapes make them perfect for tossing high in the air and catching with her mouth!

Treats? You mean cookies? My family is pretty strict with me. They claim I throw up anything interesting: ice cubes, ham, carrots. I get Science Diet adult light (what’s 90 pounds between friends?) whenever I want it. My cookies are from Costco…the Kirkland brand. My mom says they’re the size of a large Milk Bone. What would I do for them? I like to play Hide, Hide Seek. The humans crack up at this one and promise to feature me on YouTube. I can sit up. I’ll sing and dance. I’ll speak. I’m telling you, those oookies are DELICIOUS. I may be an addict…but they’re out of my reach, so I’m content to act foolish for my family, just to get a Kirkland cookie.

GIMME GIMME!

Hamlet loves all treats but especially Greenies Pill Pockets http://www.greenies.com/en_US/Products/DogPillPockets.aspx He’s working hard on “shake” as his latest trick. The progress is of a glacial pace.

GIMMIE GIMMIE
Juanny Man the Chihuhua loves his treats

GIMME GIMME!

Our dogs love Milkbones and Old Mother Hubbard P-Nuttier dog treats. Keiko, our first border collie mix, can do all kinds of tricks for them. Mochi, our second border collie mix, is still new to our family and only knows sit and down so far. I’m sure she’ll soon be rivaling her big sister in the tricks department!

GIMME GIMME – Roxy loves ice cubes and doggie cookies. She can sit, jump up, shake, high five, and lay

GIMME GIMME!

My pom-chi (Pomeranian/Chihuahua) loves Dingo’s Dental Stix. Whenever I ask her if she wants to “brush her teeth” she goes bananas. :)

GIMME GIMME!!! Our black lab puppy Tally is still learning all of her tricks, but so far she’s figured out how to sit… and then get her favorite doggie biscuit treats!

GIMME GIMME

milkbone, busybones, snausages

GIMMEE GIMMIE!!
Our 3 chihuahuas Macy, Paisley, & Bruno (g-ma, mom, son) Only have to give us their “super we love you” look to get their favorite chicken liver strips. I try to be strong and occasionally they’ll do a little spin to let me know how bad they want one, and that usually melts my heart. They’re spoiled I know!

This is such an awesome giveaway! Thanks so much!

GIMME GIMME!

My aunt Sara loves to give me rawhide bones! For Christmas she gave me some yummy peppermint flavored red & green twisty bones!

GIMME GIMME!

I’m sneaking in here even though I’m a kitty but I love my treats (and Burger) too! Here’s hoping Whitewash Sundries is an equal opportunity pet lover! Purr Purrr??

GIMME GIMME!!
My doggie’s favorite treats are rawhides. She dances, gives paw and sits for them… then she runs a lap around the house and then lays on the carpet to eat them.

GIMME GIMME!
my scottie’s favorite treat after a long hunting and gathering expodition in the back yard is an all natural chicken treat in the shape of a little drummie. Works every time!

Gimme Gimme!
Our yellow lab Molly will eat just about anything, but her favorite is a Kong filled with peanut butter. All we have to say is “Go get your Kong!” and she grabs it, drops it in the kitchen and plops down into a sit until it’s ready for her to enjoy!

Oooohhh…GIMME, GIMME!

I’d love to fill it with braided bully sticks. My dog, Roxie [who is a Yorkie that thnks she is a Doberman], lalaloooooves bully sticks!

We do the traditional sit, roll over, speak, play dead …and are working on ‘up’.

GIMME GIMME! Our corgi, Rudy, loves treats of all tastes, shapes and sizes. But he really wags his bottom (he doesn’t have a tail) for his daily bully stick!

“GIMME GIMME”

GIMME GIMME!

Our two dogs are polar opposites when it comes to treats.

Vinny, a full-grown black lab mix, will eat anything he thinks might be food. Ally, a year-old collie mix, is much more finicky and normally drops half of whatever treat she’s eating. Vinny then gobbles it up as soon as it hits the floor.

Their favorite treats are dried chicken pieces and roasted ribs and femur bones, and they always sit, shake, and wait anxiously to get them.

GIMME GIMME! Our dogs like these treats that are in the shape of eggs and bacon. They usually get them on a Sunday morning after we ask them to sit! :)

Gimme gimmee…doggie ice cream. Savannah and Cooper don’t have to do much for it. Its their “i’ve been a good dog” treat and all they have to do is look cute for it! :)

Gimme Gimme! We both love just about anything that falls on the floor. But our “sister” gives us a peanut butter biscuit each morning when we get put up for the day. (We promise we aren’t the ones having accidents in the playroom!)

Woof woof- Alfred and Lucy

My pooch loves rawhides and greenies. He’s 8, but last year we finally taught him how to shake. Who says old dogs can’t learn new tricks?

GIMME GIMME

My dog Sid LOVES the Beneful vegetable treats!!!! Because of those great things, he eats more vegetables than me!!!!

Gimme Gimme! Wrigley really loves all kinds of treats and will definitely work for food!

GIMME GIMME!!

Jack and Brandy’s favorite treat ever is Peanut Butter!! Anytime the dogs get baths, have their nails trimmed or their teeth brushed they each get a spoonful of peanut butter. Since these events do not happen everyday Jack and Brandy have numerous other treats to choose from: Marrow Bone treats, bacon and egg shaped treats, dentastix and on rare occasrions animal crackers!

GIMME GIMME GIZMO SAYZ!
Gizmo loves all treats from lettuce to liver. He gets to eat them all because I run out so fast. He will do anything for one, short of giving me away, or so I think! He excels and guessing what trick I will ask from him the moment a treat is in sight.

Gimme Gimme!

Ricotta, our Coton De Tulear, will dance & twirl for her treats!
Old Mother Hubbard Biscuits and Freeze-Dried liver treats will get her moving!

Gimme Gimme!
Malibu loves all treats… milkbones are one of her favorites, but really she isn’t that picky! She will do anything for a treat….she gets lots of treats while she is at the barn helping milk the cows….if she’s good and doesn’t chase the kitties too much!

GIMME GIMME! My puppy nephew, Bandit, goes for regular Milk Bones. We tried to work on the “come” and “sit” commands this weekend, with moderate success. He’s a stubborn little cutie.

GIMMIE GIMMIE!!
bear bear likes those breath saver treats with eucalyptus in them. he is new to us so right now we are just sitting and staying along with giving me five. nothing drastic, but he is eight years old and we are training now.

GIMME GIMME!!
Sammy’s very favorite treat is Beggin Strips! (Or the real thing, bacon) Right now he is learning to “dance.” We saw a corgi dancing on Dogs 101 on the Animal Planet and thought that would be fun. Right now its more of a “please please” with a hop to it! We are working on it.

GIMME GIMME
Roxie loves good ole fashion milk bone treats. She gets one when we get back from walks and when she preforms a trick (sit, lay, shake, turn around).

GIMME GIMME!!
My aussie loves liver treats or fresh baked goodies from the store we get his food from.

GIMME GIMME! Cleo loves dried chicken and teeth cleaning bones. We don’t make her do tricks, she earns them for putting up with two little boys!

GIMME GIMME!

Sally, our beagle’s favorite is chicken jerky treats. Sally sits and stays on the 2nd floor, then we throw the treat onto the ground floor, and she runs down and uses her beagle nose to sniff out the treat.

GIMME GIMME! Trixie adores her Kong stuffed with peanut butter. She always amazes with how quickly she cleans it out.

GIMME, GIMME! Around here, the animals seem to love lunch making time. That usually means a treat of deli meat! Other than that, they`re not picky!

GIMME GIMME!
Chase always has a case of the “gimmes” for any treat but his favorites are CloudStar Provenance cheese and potato cookies they are grainfree so great for his allergies plus they smell really yummy kind of like a baked potato

GIMME GIMME! Riley and Rainey both love chicken jerky treats….they also share with their cat brothers. I line the 4 of them up, and each has to shake hands, then they each get their treat. Fun with dogs and cats…I am easily entertained.

GIMME GIMME!

Peanut, our beagle, goes crazy over Canine Carryouts. She’ll also do anything for a bit of peanut butter. Her beagle nose is so strong! She can smell an open jar of peanut butter from two rooms away.

Casey, our corgi, loves raw carrots! She gets them whenever I am making Daddys lunch for the day.
