Treats: Are Those For Me?
***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***
What’s wrong with this picture?
Why are all of those yummy-delicious-oh-my-goodness-I-must-have-one-now treats in that container and not in my belly? Maybe I’ll get one once I finish being a good boy and telling you about this dog treat isolation chamber that you can win from Whitewash Sundries (the generously treated me with one- but it’s holding my goodies hostage!).
Just like the stuff my parents are giving away on their blog from Whitewash Sundries, this hand-etched stuff on glass is pretty cool (except for the fact that all my treats are highly visible so they taunt me as I stare at them longingly). Anyway, for this dog-themed giveaway, they put the first initial and silhouette of the dog you intend to tease with this look-but-don’t-touch canister. Cool right? And yes, also a bit cruel. Just be sure to remove a tasty morsel or two and give it to your four-legged friend on the regular.
So, if you (or your parents) want to win one of these amazing treat jars personalized with an initial and a customized dog silhouette, just follow these instructions that my dad helped me write:
- THE TREAT: A monogrammed dog treat jar from Whitewash Sundries.
- TO ENTER: Leave me a comment on this post saying “GIMME GIMME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: What’s your favorite treat (or your favorite treat to give your pet)? And what sort of things can be done to earn them?
- GIVEAWAY ENDS: Wednesday, January 27th, 2009 at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- ELIGIBILITY: The prize can be shipped all over the world!
- DETAILS SCHMETAILS: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!
I follow the same giveaway policies as my parents, so get more info on their Giveaway FAQs page. Pics courtesy of Whitewash Sundries.

GIMME GIMME (pretty please)
My mom let’s me sleep in bed and under the covers, but I have to stay next to her and can’t be between Mom and Dad or Dad will get mad. : )
Sometimes I get to have cottage cheese and chicken soup in my dry food at meals. It’s super yummy, but makes my breathe smell horrible).
GIMME GIMME! Starbucks is my favorite treat, and for my dog Gibson, he loves his square Alpo snap treats! Or a Kong filled with treats and peanut butter.
Gimme Gimme!
My husband and I just got a puppy chihuahua over christmas. She is 11 weeks old now and LOVES mini suasages… and pepporoni.. and her training treats.
this jar is just too cute!
Gimme, gimme! My dog says that with his tail. :)
My dog Bubba loves just about any kind of treat he can get. I think the peanut butter mailmen and cats are his favorite though.
GIMME GIMME!!!
Duncan’s (my scottie)favorite treat of all time is bananas. He’ll sprint across the room when he sees me peeling one for my morning cereal.
GIMME GIMME
I love my lettuce and cilantro treats from when my mommy makes salad. I have to wait patiently on my rug in order for me to earn my treat.
GIMME GIMME!
Our dog loves anything that we eat (or that anyone else eats, especially whatever my grandparents are eating when they’re over for holiday dinners).
GIMME GIMME…Wilbur’s favorite treat is licking the bowl clean of left over icecream. To earn the treat he must not potty in the house.
GIMME GIMME
We like to eat carrots! We even dig them up in the garden if Mom and Dad won’t give them to us.
GIMME GIMME
(please)
Mom gives me homemade peanut butter cookies, and pumpkin ones during Thanksgiving and Christmas. But my organic carrot cookies would be better in this container, since they don’t need to be in the fridge. Thanks for considering us!
Gimme Gimme!
My dog gets a treat when he stays at the top of the stairs as I head down the stairs to the garage to head off for work.
GIMME GIMME!
Believe it or not, my favorite treat (of the stuff that I am allowed to have, otherwise my answer would be any human food that is served on the dining room table) is ice cubes. I run into the kitchen everytime my owners open up the freezer. They call them fat-free cookies. Yum!
GIMME GIMME
My favorite treats to give my 2 pups are Buddy Biscuits (they are healthy, yummy, and the mini ones are just their size). They would probably tell you beggin strips are their favorite though…not so healthy, VERY yummy, and a bit too big for them. Just the way they like it!
Gimme gimme!
My dogs loooove to get peanut butter with fruits or veggies in their Kong toys. Stick some apple slices, carrots, celery, whatever (nothing poisonous of course- no grapes!) in there, top it off with some peanut butter, and I’ve got happily occupied doggies!
GIMME GIMME!
What treat do I not LOVE? You can’t go wrong with peanut butter or yogurt in the kong. Carrots are also very tasty!
“GIMME GIMME” My fave pet loves all foods – except anything round (no grapes or cherry tomatoes, for example!).
Gimme gimme (please)
We discovered unintentionally that our golden retriever Lilly’s favorite treat is baby carrots. Their great for her teeth too!
GIMME GIMME!
Gibson lovvvves cheese. If we open the fridge and reach for some cheese out of the drawer, he’ll come flying from the other side of the house to get some :) He’ll give both paws, high five, low five, sit, lay down, spin in circles, and we are trying to get him to sit up.. My favorite treats to give him though, are “Charley Bears”. They’re healthy and cheap!
Gimme Gimme!
My dog Lucy LOVES Peanut Butter… but she really isn’t too selective when it comes to treats! :)
Gimme gimme!
I’m entering on behalf of my dog-niece, who is about to become a big sister in a few months! Her favorite treats are Greenies, but she also loves anything peanut-butter flavored. I’d love to give this to her as a “Yay big sister!” gift… filled with treats, of course.
gimme gimme!
our dogs know that after we eat dinner, it’s “bone” time- and they go nuts when we say the B word!
GIMME GIMME
My dog Coco (a little 4 pound black shih tzu) loves bananas! I eat one with breakfast almost daily and share it with her. It is too cute…
GIMME GIMME!
Our pups, Baxter and Penny, would love a new fancyshmancy treat jar for their natural ‘sweet potato’ cookies.. Baxter is the man at sign language commands, Penny is just a sweetheart pup who has to look all cute with her Boston ears…
GIMME GIMME!!!!
Our Pup is a Labrador Retriever, so there is really nothing she won’t eat (she’s eaten a shoe, a mousetrap, and the wire brush for cleaning our BBQ grill so far!)….but she goes CRAZY for bacon!!
GIMME GIMME!
My three pugs LOVE clementine oranges or any type of citrus fruit. They will be angels for a piece of orange!
GIMME GIMME
My basset hound bella loves her all-meat venison treats, even though they make her breath stink like you wouldn’t believe.
GIMME GIMME!
Our Jack Russell loves baby carrots; he can sit and shake paws. Our Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel loves milkbones; she can do more tricks than the other… sit, shake paws, turn around, roll over, speak, etc. =D
Gimme Gimme!
My pup Sydney loves Peanut Butter Kong, or PBK as we’ve named it. She loves to lay on the rug and lick it out. She gets it about once a week if she’s a good girl!
Gimme gimme … please. My pooch Smooch’s favorite dog treats are the ones I bake for her … here’s a post with the recipe:
http://www.the7msnranch.com/2010/01/baking-wallys-cookies.html
GIMME GIMME!! Celeste LURVES her Dingo outback bites, and they are teeny tiny, so I can give her one often!
Gimmie! Gimmie! I use home baked treats from the Klecko dog biscuit book. They are delicious and fun to share. :)
Gimme, gimmie!
The real question is what does Bindi NOT like? Lately though, she’s been receiving dog training treats (soft, chewy treats that can be broken into teeny-tiny pieces). And she must work for them. Sit for one minute, stand and stay for 30 seconds, wait with the door open before we let her out, etc. We also play hide and seek which is her favorite.
GIMME GIMME!
Because our Pit is allergic to so many things he only gets Natural Balance Venison and Sweet Potato cookies. Of course, he thinks it’s absolutely NOT FAIR. Maybe a pretty jar would help soothe the injustice of it all.
GIMME GIMME!
Pepinot loves Chicken and Biscuits snacks. He gets one every time he goes to the bathroom outside :)
GIMME GIMME! My dog likes milkbones! We give them to him when he uses the potty outside! (he is still a puppy)
Gimme Gimme!!!
Our doxies love good ole’ fashion milk bones. Basically all they are required to do to get their milkies is to look cute. Not tough for these long dogs. Sidney can Sit Pretty which is pretty impressive for her super long body. Wilbur is a master at Roll Over.
GIMME GIMME!
My favorite is peanut butter in a Kong. My mommy is super nice and buys the organic kind from Trader Joe’s! But, I have to sit nicely for her to give it to me.
(PS–”dog treat isolation chamber” Hilarious.)

Gimme Gimme!
My amstaff terrier mix, Jersey, loves all things peanut butter. She has a bit of a sensitive stomach, but peanut butter treats suit her fine. She gets bored during the day, so i put them in a new toy that i got from the local pet store, and she spends an hour or so trying to get them out :)
