My Lowest Low

This picture wasn’t even taken by my parents, it was snapped by my adoring vet (what? I’m adorable) before they took me back for the ol’ snip-snip when I was just a wee one. My mom and dad left me there with my pink bunny to keep me company but nothing could prepare me for the shock of waking up missing a bit of my anatomy. Oh the horror.

I’ve been wondering…have mom and dad discussed the B A B Y with you yet? If so, how do you feel about it? I think you’ll make a wonderful big brother, but I worry you’ll feel left out.

Heck no! I’ll still be the king of this castle. Mom and dad have explained how the baby has to sleep in a crib in the nursery and I still get to sleep in bed with them. I win!

I found myself in that very situation soon after I was adopted by my current human. I didn’t have to take my octopus with me though, because I was a big boy (two years old). My previous humans were not very good caretakers, I had never been to the vet before! I did take my favorite blankie with me when I had to get my ears flushed. Little
