My Lowest Low

- Date: I blocked it out
- Location: the vet (eeks!)
- I’m feeling: like I’m on death row
This picture wasn’t even taken by my parents, it was snapped by my adoring vet (what? I’m adorable) before they took me back for the ol’ snip-snip when I was just a wee one. My mom and dad left me there with my pink bunny to keep me company but nothing could prepare me for the shock of waking up missing a bit of my anatomy. Oh the horror.

Heck no! I’ll still be the king of this castle. Mom and dad have explained how the baby has to sleep in a crib in the nursery and I still get to sleep in bed with them. I win!
Hi Burger,
I found myself in that very situation soon after I was adopted by my current human. I didn’t have to take my octopus with me though, because I was a big boy (two years old). My previous humans were not very good caretakers, I had never been to the vet before! I did take my favorite blankie with me when I had to get my ears flushed. Little

Burger, you’re just too darned cute.
I’ve been wondering…have mom and dad discussed the B A B Y with you yet? If so, how do you feel about it? I think you’ll make a wonderful big brother, but I worry you’ll feel left out.
Your friend,
