You scared me. I was just sleeping in the sun and all of a sudden you’re in my face and I’m all “whaaa?” My eyes pop open like I’m awake, but I’m really still sort of sleeping while half of my brain is fighting to figure out what the heck you’re doing and why the heck you’re bothering me. But I don’t care all that much in the end… so my eyes will slowly change from suspicious to droopy and soon they’ll close entirely. Rough life, huh?

Hey Juno,
I get my teeth brushed probably about five nights a week (mom keeps my toothpaste and toothbrush next to the sofa in a little box so she remembers to do it pretty often). I don’t mind it much because I like to lick the minty toothpaste. Fun!
As for my nails, I haaaaate that. My parents usually have to hold me down and wrap me in a towel to clip them every once in a while (they use a regular clipper because the noise an electric trimmer would make would definitely scare me even more). I’m sure to make it nice and uncomfortable for them (screaming and kicking and scratching the whole time) so they don’t do it very much and often leave it up to the vet during appointments (I’m on my best behavior when I’m there so there’s less scratching and screaming). Hope it helps!

Since my mom tortures me with clipping my nails, I bite her!! She has to put on leather gloves and wrap her arms with a towel. It’s a funny sight. I know she only does it cause she loves me, but a chihuahua has to have some fun!

Hey Burger, I was wondering: do your parentals clip your nails? What to they use (clipper or dremmel file)? How about teeth, do you ever get your teeth brushed? My mom seems to be working on improving my hygiene, so I’m wondering what tortures other pups have to put up with.
