Child Abuse!

- Date: a few months ago
- Location: my bag, which I have a love/hate relationship with
- I’m feeling: the hate
Sometimes it’s warm and cozy in my bag, and when I’m in an unfamiliar place there’s nothing I like more than the safety of my own little zone. But sometimes I smell something yummy or hear something that I want to investigate and I can’t get out of my bag fast enough. So when my parents start to unzip the zipper sometimes I get so excited that I stick my nose out of the hole and get “birthed” by the bag like a baby. It’s pretty impressive, you should see it.
Anyone else travel by way of a bag? Dish the carry-along dirt.

Yo Burger!!
Diesel and vinny here, we used to hop in the bag whilst we were puppies, and we loved it… Vinny wasnt so kean though. He put an end to our bag riding when he decided to break free and jump out mid walk. It ended with our mummy human being rather shaken up and worried about him….
Im off to go chew some windows and a door in mums fav handbag see if she will let me ride in it again….
Woof!
Ooh sounds like fun. I’m with you in spirit!
I have my very own bag too! Momma and daddy say it’s easier on the wallet and heart to take me with them on trips! They hide the bag from me the rest of the time though because I get so excited when I see it that they can’t keep me out of it!
The cat has a bag, its very pretty but I don’t think I would like to ride in it. She doesn’t like it either and taught herself how to unzip it from the inside. The cat scares me sometimes.
My mom bought me a stroller when she first adopted me. She was taking me and my big brother Thor on a 5K charity walk (which I’ve since learned is very long) and was worried that I would get trampled on. I chewed my way out before the walk began, it was fun!
Mom got her money back for the stroller, they thought it must have been defective. She’s since learned that I am a very good chewer. I know some very old chihuahuas that have strollers. Maybe I’ll let her get me one when I get old. Until then, this chihuahua walks.
Little
Oh Little, you crack me up. So glad you escaped the clutches of that evil stroller!
Hamlet doesn’t have a bag but loves to travel, especially by car. When we first had him he just curled up in the backseat and slept. Since then he’s discovered the car has windows! with a whole world passing by! and sometimes he sees other dogs! So needless to say he now stands on his hind legs with front paws on the window and gets the best view he can.
Hoping someday we can take him on an airplane trip and carry him on in the cabin with us, like our own little Ham sandwich.
Burger, you’re so cute. If I wanted to carry my dog around in a bag, it would have to be the size of a suitcase and twice as wide. With wheels. And a motor.
Be glad you get to get toted. Ol’ Trixie has to walk!!
I recently bought a soft carrier for my cat for a long car ride home to my parents for the holidays. Well before I even reached the highway, Rocky found his way out of the bag somehow. So now I always use the hard plastic carrier. The soft one seemed like it would be more comfy. Oh well!
