I’m An Animal

- Date: sometime last week
- Location: my favorite pillow (well, one of many) in the den
- I’m feeling: why? seriously, why?
Hey I have an idea! Let’s cover the soundly sleeping chihuahua with his own toys. That’ll be fun, right? Wrong. Not amusing. I love my toys but if I want to snuggle up to them I’ll make it happen. No assistance necessary. Got it annoying parents?
Who’s with me on this?

I love how his toys are nearly as big as he is. Adorable.
Preach It Burger!
Oh Burger you are so friggin cute! Love the picture of you with your ears tucked back!
My little boy Ernie (a Tibetan Spaniel) loves his stuffed animal toys too, he’s not so into the plastic-y toys. And he’s only a whopping 9 pounds so most of his stuffed animals are the same size as him too. We can’t help but laugh when we throw the toys and he brings them back dragging on the ground, somtimes tripping over them as he carries them back.
Ernie’s other favorite thing is sitting on the back of our couch which is situated in front of our big window (like your parents did with your couch in the living room). He likes to sit and watch the squirrels and the leaves blowing in the wind. Are you a window-watcher?
Oh yes, I love looking out the front window, so much that there’s a little me-sized dent in the top cushion of the sofa where I like to sit. There’s nothing like waiting all day for the mail man…
Burger, you are the cutest! These are literally the cutest pictures of you ever!
It could be worse. Your mom could find it hysterical to hitch a toy to your collar, cowboy style. Ride the dachshund? I think not.
