TREAT ME!! (please!! I'll do a trick!)

I have a dog and a cat. My boyfriend insisted we get an 8 week old puppy for our first dog so we could raise her from scrach, and I wanted a Puggle, so after looking for a year, we could not find one in a rescue. But our next will be a rescue, you can count on that!

Our cat, Mr. Face, wandered into our lives a few years ago on one of the few snowy nights Georgia ever sees. A man was walking and a cat was following him, and he said, "I have to get rid of this cat tonight or else my dog will kill him, they have been fighting non stop and the dog keeps getting him at the throat." So we took him in, hoping to save the kitty's life. We still have our ornery cat Mr. Face, and he is still big, black, and grumpy after all these years :D

Treat me! We rescued two wonderful kitties 5 years ago. One was scheduled to be put down because she'd been at the shelter so long. She is so sweet and loving (and an attention hog) that I can't imagine life without her.

TREAT ME

My two cats came from the Parkersburg, WV shelter the same week a puppy farm in the area was broken up and all the dogs, over 1000, had to be processed and then shipped out to other area shelters for adoption. All were pure bread and as far as I know all found homes. My boys had to have all their shots repeated because the shelter lost their paperwork in all the confusion, but I know they are happy to have a loving home and glad that all the dogs found good homes also, including cousin Sophie, a yorkie.

Treat Me!!
We got our 8 year old rat terrier last year from a shelter. She was in rough shape- our humane society got her from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding :( She has come a long way and I wouldn't trade her for the world!

“TREAT ME”

About two months ago, I found a stray dog outside of my office. It gets hot in Alabama, so I brought him inside, gave him some water, and then designed some posters to put up in the neighborhood saying we had found the dog. No one responded, so one of my coworkers adopted him!

TREAT ME

We rescued our cat, Bindhi, on our 1 year anniversary as our gift to eachother. The poor baby had parasites and was stuck in a cage right next to the room with all the dogs at the animal shelter. The barking was deafening. She tried to rub her head on us from inside the cage, which got my husbands attention. When we got her out of the cage, she melted like butter in our arms. She is the sweetest little addition to our family!
