Poor Tortured Friend
Given my name, this Halloween costume may have been perfect (if I was ok with being humiliated, which we all know I’m not)…

It’s a riff on the famous William Hundley “Chihuahua On Burger” portrait below, which many of you have already seen and sent my way:

And this lucky girl (I feel for you Parker) from this cool blog actually has a mom who made those Burger “shoes” with fabric and a glue gun. Pretty crafty, eh?

Anyway I just had to share. Maybe it’s because I’m secretly gloating that it wasn’t me. Yes I was made to resemble a condiment coated hot dog but at least my paws were left unobstructed. Whew. Better luck next year Parker!

Try to see the silver lining Burger— it’s cold and your not exactly well, furry. What you see as a potentially embarassing costume could be an warm and cozy way to wiggle some Halloween treat-y goodness from your humans!
That’s been something I was curious about, my cats and bunny demand seasonal treats of their very own so do your humans make the extra effort to see that you have your own ‘slice’ of each holiday season? We did cat-friendly homemade treats and for Hermes the Bunny we made a colourful harvest salad treat!

I think you lucked out with the hot dog costume. Though it was a bit more ironic, the burgers look very difficult and uncomfortable to stand on.
I feel for you both, I don’t agree with dressing up doggies for Halloween.
